Triton Valsteknik is an established industrial company in Grums with a strong position in service, maintenance, and manufacturing for, among others, the paper, pulp, steel, and process industries. We are now looking for a Preparation Manager who wants to help create the right conditions for production, contribute to high quality in our deliveries, and at the same time become an important part of our continued development.
With us, you will get a varied role where you work closely with customers, production, sales, purchasing, and designers in an organization with short decision-making paths and high engagement.
About the role
As a Preparation Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the right basis is in place for production to deliver according to customers' requirements and expectations.
You work with product preparation, quotations, order writing, material handling, and documentation. The role involves many contact surfaces, and you will become an important link between the customer's needs and our production.
Examples of tasks:
- Product preparation and creation of product structures
- Quotation and order writing
- Calculation of material and manufacturing time
- Purchasing and supplier contacts
- Follow-up of deliveries and material flows
- Handling of material certificates, quality documentation, and protocols
- Collaboration with production, purchasing, sales, and designers
- Contribute to improvements of routines and working methods

The position is located in our operations at Nyängen industrial area in Grums.
Who are you?
We see that you have technical understanding from industry, production, or workshop and enjoy combining technology and administration.
Perhaps you work today as a preparer, production technician, technical administrator, or order preparer. You might also work in a workshop environment and want to take the next step towards a more coordinating and administrative role.
To succeed in the role, you need to have:
- Technical understanding from industry, production, workshop, or similar environment.
- Understanding of drawings, materials, machining, or manufacturing flows.
- Good administrative ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work structured with quotation/order/preparation.
- Experience communicating with both internal functions and external contacts.
- Good Swedish in speech and writing.
- Basic system familiarity.
It is an advantage if you have experience from mechanical workshop, CNC machining, production technology, calculation, or industrial purchasing.
